The MX5021 are very flexible with lengthy wires, remote control and compatibility with PCs, DVD players, TV's ... ...30ft cables for the speakers so can place speakers in good postions. The control module has volume, bass and treble conrols with aux in and headphone jack all in 1 plus combined that with a remote crontrol very well thought out.
Whether it is watchin DVD's,playing games on your PC or even watchin TV the THX certified MX5021 are an absolute bargin.

I bought these speakers just a few months a go, and wow, they're superb. The sleek look, and simple, yet effective design really makes it stand out from the pack. It's a 2.1 configuration, meaning you get two sattellite speakers (20Watts each), and a sub woofer (50Watts), that make the best out of most sound sources.
The clarity of higher frequency sounds is good, and the sub woofer makes the room shake (and annoy's the nieghbours i bet!). I currently ... ...be attatched easily to most other devices such as tele or computer via the 1/16 jack cable, or 1/16 jack to split phono cable provided, making it a doddle to install.
The speaker wire's are fairly long too which is good - Isn't it just a nightmare buying a stereo and find that the speakers just about reach a foot away from the main unit...?! The tidy controller unit, which it comes with, can be placed with in a reasonable distance of the sub woofer ...

...Add in THX certification for cinema-quality sound, and you've got an excellent alternative to a high-end home audio system. Check Ciao.co.uk for Altec Lancing FX6021 [Altec Lansing FX6021 PC multimedia speaker system] which gives similar output. According to my opinion finishing is the difference. Anyway both give great music experience. ...

Great 2.1 system with a huge sub which really does output a good deep rumbling bass. High output wattage for a multimedia speaker system. THX certified to prove high capabilities with a range of input systems. Satelitte speakers are larger than expected but produce excellent sound. With a good sound card the treble & bass can be set correctly to match rival higher priced systems.
If the cable leading from the sub to the volume control were larger ... ...the remote would be suitable. The cables for the satelites however are of a good length and can be increased. The input capabilities are great so you can connect many different items, with 2 possible at one time as standard.
Great for a student who loves deep rumbling music. Equally great as a computer speaker set for movies and games. ...
