At first they did take some getting used to as they are bigger than the CX 300s, I would prefer them slightly smaller. Background noise isn't a problem but initially you may find the silicone tips take a bit of wiggling about to get them to fit exactly if you want them to block out all background noise. Overall the sound quality is far superior to any headphones I've had before. The durability is spot on. The headphones are easy to use, reliable and easy to transport especially with the case included. The only downfall of these headphones is the price, you'll find them around the £40 mark but as I can't fault them other than that I'll go with 5 stars.
Advantages: Free with an iPod Disadvantages: Cost £20 for a new pair, poor sound quality.
can tell by looking at the wire that they're not iPod earphones.
If you have more money to spend than £20, go for some AltecLansingUHP306 either standard or professional and you'll know what good sound quality really is.
Overall the quality of the iPod earphones is poor in comparison to what is available on the market even when you take into consideration the price tag. They are very easy to use and easy to transport but the reliability is average at best. I certainly wouldn't buy some. ...
