As some of you know I have been dying my hair at home for years and because I like the more eccentric colours (Black/blue, purple etc) I wanted to find a shampoo that helped the colour to stay in. Even though I use a permanent colour it never really lasts long and even that seems to wash out! I decided it must be my hair being rebellious, but I never gave up hope of finding the shampoo that would help my hair stay the mad colour that I had chosen to dye it! Now I have had to mention the conditioner too as I never shampoo my hair without using a conditioner afterwards as I can not handle the pain of trying to get a brush through unconditioned hair.

The lid has a round label stuck on it. It has a black background and says "2000 LUSH e330g" The writing being white and behind the company name is the yellow centred green emblem, "BIG" in large white italic lettering and has a full list of ingredients in small white writing.
The front of the black tub has another black label stuck on and apart from the ingredients list there is the same information as the lid and underneath is written "All new life affirming shampoo for more shine than you thought possible. Having fun with all my recent gifts from the Lush product range. The latest one I have been trying is the Ultimate Shine Solid Shampoo. This shampoo comes in the form of a flat round soap shape, lemon in colour and to be quite honest, the texture look s a bit like millions of sugar strands (like the ones you get on the top of cakes) all bound together. It also contains tiny little gold sparkles but I was really only aware of these when they caught the light, they just seem to wash away whilst washing your hair. It doesn't really have a very perfumed smell, I found it to be more of a medicated smell with a hint of lemon.
When using this shampoo you can either rub it in your hands, just as you would do with a bar of soap, and then once you have a good lather on your hands just rub it into your wet hair. I personally prefer just to ...
