Amana SXD522 Boston White/Ebony Side by Side Fridge Freezer

...This is the fridge freezer that my parents bought about 7 months ago. They bought it for £1220 from Currys, quite expensive! The machine is very large and bulky and a large kitchen is needed for it not to look silly. Its dimensions are 80 * 90 * 190cm. The right hand door (looking at it) opens the fridge and the left the freezer. Both sections have vast amounts of space - fridge 420L, freezer 220L. The freezer is frost free which is brilliant, such a nice feature! the machine looks great, we have a white one with glass shelves inside - v.nice! There are shelves and drawers on both sides so lots of places for various food types. The fridge door has lots of shelves from top to bottom and can be used to store jars/sauces/wine etc... This saves space in the main fridge. The freezer door contains the ice (cubes or crushed) and cold water... Read review

...easy to get to. Both the fridge and freezer are easy to defrost as there is a convienent tap at the bottom to drain out any excess moisture. The fridge has 3 glass shelves along with 2 salad drawer thingys and ample storage in the door with four shelves there. You can fit just shy a hundred bottles of beer in there or around 30 bottles of wine. The freezer is seperated into 3 compartments, a drawer at the bottom one standard shelf and one shelf for rapid freezing, it is a wee bit on the small side but still as ample room for my needs in my household of 2 adults. So far there have been no problems ( 7 months ) with the unit and it comes with the standard 1 year warranty with the option to upgrade to 3 - 5 years from the manufacturer.
