Amana SXD524 V White/Ebony Side by Side Fridge Freezer

...This is the fridge freezer that my parents bought about 7 months ago. They bought it for £1220 from Currys, quite expensive! The machine is very large and bulky and a large kitchen is needed for it not to look silly. Its dimensions are 80 * 90 * 190cm. The right hand door (looking at it) opens the fridge and the left the freezer. Both sections have vast amounts of space - fridge 420L, freezer 220L. The freezer is frost free which is brilliant, such a nice feature! the machine looks great, we have a white one with glass shelves inside - v.nice! There are shelves and drawers on both sides so lots of places for various food types. The fridge door has lots of shelves from top to bottom and can be used to store jars/sauces/wine etc... This saves space in the main fridge. The freezer door contains the ice (cubes or crushed) and cold water... Read review

...The Bosch KIV 38V00 is a smart-looking fridge-freezer, if not a bit on the pricey side. I thought I'd opt for quality when I decided to replace my old fridge-freezer and I think that that is what I've got. Firstly, one big bonus is the deep freezer drawers. A real annoying feature of most freezers is having to cram food in. The Bosch drawers are deep and their facings are secure. Another great thing about the freezer is the no-frost system which really limits ice build up and lets you slide the drawers in and out really easily. It doesn't need defrosting very often but when it does there is an automatic defrost button so minimal effort needed. Another handy feature, if you have an awkward kitchen set-up is the fact that you can change the way the doors open. Also good for left-handers. All in all, a nice fridge-freezer if not a bit...
