Amana TR525 V White Top Mount Fridge Freezer

Advantages: Large, frost free, efficient
Disadvantages: expensive, bulky

...This is the fridge freezer that my parents bought about 7 months ago. They bought it for £1220 from Currys, quite expensive! The machine is very large and bulky and a large kitchen is needed for it not to look silly. Its dimensions are 80 * 90 * 190cm. The right hand door (looking at it) opens the fridge and the left the freezer. Both sections have vast amounts of space - fridge 420L, freezer 220L. The freezer is frost free which is brilliant, such a nice feature! the machine looks great, we have a white one with glass shelves inside - v.nice! There are shelves and drawers on both sides so lots of places for various food types. The fridge door has lots of shelves from top to bottom and can be used to store jars/sauces/wine etc... This saves space in the main fridge. The freezer door contains the ice (cubes or crushed) and cold water... Read review

Advantages: Very quiet running; "A" efficiency rating

...I bought a KG36P320 from BE Direct for £474.99 in August 2004. It’s finished in white, with brushed stainless steel handles. The reasons that I chose this fridge/freezer over other similarly sized ones were: * It was reported to be very quiet while running * “A” Rating for energy efficiency * Digital temperature controls * Two compressors * Siemens’ reputation I haven’t been disappointed – it really does run very quietly. My kitchen is next to my main living area and I used to hear my previous (Hotpoint) fridge/freezer running all the time. The Siemens I only notice when everything else is silent. The fridge compartment is at the top. It is 232lt in size. It has five glass shelves, a bottle rack, a tray in the main section and another tray in the salad drawer.
