I recieved the Amazon Kindle as a graduation present from my mother and was surprised because I always said I would never use one and wouldn't like it at all. She must have known that I would change my opinion eventually. At first I was uncomfortable with how light it was, but that changed quickly when I realized how easy it was to prop it up for reading. I never had to worry about bending the pages back or having them continuously close on me when I was trying to multi task. The screen never hurts my eyes (which was another concern of mine) since there is no back-light and it looks just like the print on actual paper. I went on a roadtrip with my husband right after I recieved the Kindle and we had so much fun with the 3G feature! It always worked nomatter where we were, and I was even able to check my email with the experimental search feature. Some of the experimental features aren't great yet, like the text-to-speech feature, which sounds robotic. The keyboard is easy to use once you get the hang of which buttons do what. I don't even have to think about it now. I know I really love the Kindle because I haven't bought a paper book for a year since I got the Kindle. Another great thing about searching for books is that you can quickly find free books under Kindle Top Sellers. I have also dropped my Kindle MANY times, but you wouldn't know I did.
