Advantages Light weight, not back lit and easy to use

I got my Kindle for Christmas but it isn't something I would have ever thought I would use. I love reading but I also like books and holding books. When I started using it I struggled to get to grips with it at first but when I got used to it I have found it so easy to use. I have the case for it which is great because then it opens like a book and is so much better to read from like that.

Thing I like about the kindle are:

  • It's fast to use, no waiting about when you select something.
  • It's simple to use, some pieces of technology are so complecated I loose interest.
  • There's loads of space on it.
  • It doesn't have a back lit screan like and ipad or other tablet so doesn't give me headache

Things I didn't like:

  • There is no easy way to find the free books when shopping from the kindle. (However I am no longer bothered by this as I realised I was downloading things I would never read so now I just download as I want things.)
  • It's not a book.

In conclusion I think this was a great gift and I use it loads, it might not be a book but books weigh a ton when you go on holiday... space saved for more flip flops :)
