Advantages very long battery-life, saves mobi, pdf, txt and many other file types, great screen resolution

Disadvantages enlarged pdf files can be hard to fit on the screen, i suggest that you change it to txt before.

For a book- lover and a student like me, investing in a kindle was a great decision. Many of our teachers prefer sending us document files or pdf files for reading assignments. You can easily transfer these files to your kindle and take them with you anywhere. Every now and then, you might want to read some thing else, a leisure book perhaps, you can easily click the home button and kindle would save the page you have read.

Kindle is also good for your eyes, far better than reading something on a computer. Trust me, my neighbor is an optician and he was amazed with kindles screen resolution.

I read a lot on my kindle but i barely need to charge it and if ever i have to, it only takes around 30 mins and its full again.

For those who worry about E-books being very expensive, its really a matter of knowing that your books would be saved safely and you do not have to worry of them being lost, old or destroyed. It is a great investment. Besides, amazon offers many free books; they mainly offer great classic books with authors such as Jane Austen, Charles Dickens and Shakespeare.
