Advantages: Cheap motoring, Cheaper VED (Road Tax) Disadvantages: Time to convert it, lose a bit of luggage space
I had Alan convert my wife's Xtrail and I was so impressed by the ease of use and the savings to be made that I then chose to convert my own car. That's 2 x £1600 and I consider it money well spent.
Alan (owner of www.essexlpg.net) operates from premises on a working farm in Stambridge, Essex SS4 2BF. He does employ one mechanic but otherwise it's a very small operation. Though small he has been LPGA accredited and has all the necessary equipment such as an exhaust gas analyser. If you do go there remember it's his work that counts not posh showrooms.
You leave your vehicle with him and pick it up usually a week later. He prefers to be paid by Cheque when you leave the car or Cash when you pick it up.
Externally there are few clues to your new fuel source. A small brass nozzle covered by a plastic cap is all the external ...
Advantages: Lots to do, good shopping, a beach Disadvantages: Some places are real dumps
I live in Essex/East London in an area called Dagenham. I live in one of the "dumps" as mentioned in the disadvantages but I rreally think Essex is a nice place to live! Next year we are planning to move out into Pitsea, Basildon so were further into the nicer bits of Essex.

Lakeside is great for real shopaholics as it's open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday is 10 - 10pm and Saturday it's open till 8 and Sunday till 5. It has just about everything there. Tons of music shops, lots of clothing, and my personal favourite, Krispy Kreme! Lol. :P Basildon also has a decant shopping centre and I personally enjoy going to Southend-On-Sea's high street shopping during the summer. As you go further out into East London you also have Romford's shopping mall which is a good one too. Plenty ...

Advantages: Includes his top selling hits. Disadvantages: They are the only good ones.
David Essex, born David Cook, in 1947, has enjoyed a varied career over the last 35 years. He has acted both on stage and in films and television and has many a successful song in the charts.
Over the years he has twenty three hits to get into the top 30. He currently has a song in the charts, though I doubt it will make it far due to lack of air play. This song came about as part of a Channel 4 documentary, which attempted to bring back the Christmas number One.
He has quite a following, of all ages, and still continues to tour. These days he only sells his records via his website and at the concerts, but previous releases can be found in good music shops.
One of these is the CD, The Best of David Essex. It has been in my possession for many years. How it came to be I cannot say. My mum is a huge fan, to say the least ...
