Ambi-Pur 3Volution Plug In

I've always got some kind of fragrance dispenser on the go in my flat, and just before Christmas I went out shopping with my friend who knows what i'm like about room fragrances and she said 'You've got to try the Ambi Pur 3volution, its soo nice'. Now my friend is a smoker, and although she hangs out her window to smoke 99% of the time, sometimes smoke floats in, and she said you can still really smell the fragrance. We went into Wilkinsons and they had it on offer- the plug in unit and refils so I bought the unit for about £4 and a refil for about £2. She recommended the 'Winter Dream' fragrance.

Ambi Pur basically designed this plug in because when a smell is constant, your nose can become accustomed to it, and therefore not recognise it a a fresh fragrance. So the idea is having three different fragrances in 1 unit that changes every 45 minutes will ensure that you don't get too used to the smell. Of course, the fragrances also need to compliment each other.

'Winter dream' was a combination of Vanilla, Jasmine, Sandalwood and cedarwood. The Vanilla smell was probably the most dominant smell of the scents. It was a very warm smelling plug-in. My lounge is over 20foot and unfortunately the fragrance isn't strong enough to drift as far as the door to fill the room, but sat on my sofa which is about 10ft away from the plug in you can smell it lovely. Because it contains three fragrances the unit itself is bigger than a conventional plug in, which means if you have a double socket and you have something else plugged in it is quite difficult to get in a switch the plug-in off.

Ambi Pur offer lots of difference fragrances, above and beyond those listed on the website- today I bought 'Vanilla Dream' which is apparently inspired by 'freshly baked cakes, creamy hot drinks and sweet vanilla fudge'. These are fabulous if you have a smallish room that you want to fill with fragrance, and would be lovely in a hallway to greet you as you come in, but don't use in very large rooms or you won't get the full benefit of it.
