*~* As i already had a half-hearted tan, i applied it fairly sparsley. I do think that if you apply loads and loads, then you're gonna go orange. So dont!
*~* It ... ...hours to reach its full browness. I think that its best to wear old and loose clothes (just incase it rubs off) and leave for at least an hour before going to bed. If you went to bed sooner, then it might come off on your sheets and be a bit grim really.

*~* The downside to this product, is that, well basically it smells. It smells quite bad infact. i smelt my hands afterwards and they smelt something between a swimming pool and beef and onion crisps. So, i would definatly reccommend having a bath/shower once its fully developed. Also, wash your hands straight after use, because otherwise, it leaves stains under your nails, and other nasty business!
*~* It did however, boost my tan, and looked a natural brown colour. Quite a few people asked me if i had been on holiday, which was pleasing! It left my skin feeling moisturised and smooth. On the tube, it says to exofoliate first, i didnt because i usually have quite smooth skin anyway, so im not sure if this would be nessecairy.
*~* In conclusion, i think that this is a bargain self suntanner, i cant remember the actual cost, but it was something like £3. A bargain if you can stand the smell.

I opted for Ambre Solaire Self Tan because of the brand name. I figured that it would be of good quality even though it doesn't cost the earth.
I used the product before I went on holiday to Cyprus in January. I was determined to show off a gorgeous winter tan when I came back with or without sunbathing. What followed wasn't funny but I suppose it serves me right for trying to 'show off'.
I followed the instruction carefully and didn't seem to ... ...spread some more on. Actually I put quite a lot on this time. I wanted gorgeous, golden brown legs that didn't need stockings or tights.
When I got up the next morning to have a shower I couldn't believe it. I looked like an advert for Tango! Yes, I'd been Tangoed while I slept. Not a pleasant experience I can tell you.
So, for the rest of my holiday I had to wear jeans. I was too embarassed to wear a skirt or shorts.
I wouldn't recommend this ...

Sorry to sound so harsh but unfortunately the title says it all!
I like my life to be easy so naturally I opted for the Fake Tan option this year as my personal budget didn't quite stretch to a week on the Costa del Sol, so I invested in a bottle of Ambre Solaire. It DID give a very good colour, very natural looking but it felt very "heavy" on the skin, didnt quite sink in, I found it to be more "pongy" than others brands I have tried. All in all ...

This cream is heaven sent. On application it absorbs straight away. The fragrance was pleasant as it wasn't too heavy or overpowering. Being dermatlogically tested, it was even suitable for my mother who has sensitive skin. After applying the cream, I developed a golden tan on my face and body which looked natural.I reapplied the cream to achieve a darker tan every 2-4 days.
