So I decided to do an op about this product as A) Bought it B) Tried it C) Had a opinion on it D) Have another product to compare it to, may do another op about the separate product
Now there must be a few of you out there like me who is using the tan instead of sitting in the sun, men women we all do it (Well the ones who cant tan)
THIS IS ME Im a girl who burns simple...you see that girl with the bright red face yep that's me and guess where ive been yep sitting outside for a day not realising that my face is turning into a tomato, but that's all day.
BUT YOU CAN TAN Alot of people burn then it turns into tan, ok may do on my shoulders and back but pretty much that's it. I want a tan because to me you look better and getting a tan which doesn't cause any life threatening problems well im straight there. The sun beds arnt wise they are also a source of high risk and its alot of money. Could go to a salon and get it done... huh one leg
will cost you £30 lets just go cheap.
I have tried tanning solutions before but I always got the streaks as it took 5 hours to dry and so I gave up, recently when I found out my Boyfriends sister is getting married next year and I was to be a bridesmaid her words to me was (i.e. title) “I don't want no Milk coloured girl standing next to me at my wedding GET a tan” huh cheers Nicola!
Even though its a year in advance I bought this product just to see if I look any good with a tan. I went to Superdrug and bought this product “Ambre Solaire, No streaks bronzerself tanning spray. What initially drew me to it was “NO STREAKS” and once reading says it will automatically dry once you have sprayed it on.
THE BOTTLE It doesn't come in a fancy packet, which if it did would probably make it even more money it is a ‘bronze coloured’ bottle (which they all are anyway)
THE WRITING On the front of the bottle has the ‘Garnier Ambre Solaire” in big bold letters then underneath highlighted is the ‘No streaks bronzer’, you are automatically drawn to the product makers name but the No streaks bronzer also attracts you. Also at the front of the bottles have a small picture illustrating that you can use it on the back of your legs and......upside down wohoo. At the bottom tells you that its dermatologically tested aswell Turn it round, gives you the instructions, how it works, the cautions and it ingredients.
WHAT IT SUGGESTS It says that you should exfoliate before using it. To be honest I didn't when I used it all I wanted to do is try it. Oh always wash your hands once applied, cautions: Dont spray on naked flame, not in the eyes nor face, not on inflamed skin, do not use in a confined space
SMELL It actually smells like hair spray BUT peachy it smells like peach and once i had applied it my whole bedroom stunk of it. Was quite nice
THE APPLICATION When spraying it, it makes a humming sound obviously its because it needs to have the function to make it spray upside down!!!, Once sprayed (preferably do one leg at a time) get your hands and do a quick rub over to check you have gotten all the spots, wash your hands then do the other leg. NOTE: I was naked when doing this, i only put it on my legs as Im too afraid to do it anywhere else at the mo’....so I must add don't just wash your hands, wash you wrists of arms as think about it when your wiping it over your legs you do get it on your arms LEARNT THE HARD WAY, also I used it to the top of my thigh so when i bent down to rub my ankles etc. I got it on my stomach too, two patches, would of looked good if it was all over lol.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT/ what happened?? It actually didn't dry with a blink of an eye (which is quoted off the bottle), it took time but like i said before i was naked and wanted to put some pants on....and as it took time i decided to put some on..... What happened is that where i tried to miss my legs when putting on my pants i had two white patches at the side of each legs eek!! Also don't go over the top in spraying it yes it says evenly but that cant always been done, myself I didnt go over the top at all and my legs did look good, really i didn't need to exfoliate BUT its better that you do and keep doing it after you have used it (when dried). ALSO on my feet you could see the streaks, it goes round the rim of your toenails and looks a mess, you can sort that out but It looked like my nails where on permanent orange not good for open toe shoes
DO I RECOMMEND IT? Yes but don't do what i did, it does fade and can sometimes can look better, if you get it on you feet and looks horrible i found that if your in the bath or shower it does come off when wiping it. YET I do say exfoliate, even though and didn't and it did look good i feel it could of maybe looked better if i did

This sounds quite good, and good value too - I might try this before I go on holiday, so I don't feel too white and pasty on the beach!
