At last I have found 5 minutes to write this piece.

If like me you have lovely lily white legs!!! And long to have nice tan ones for the summer do not fear the answers here.

In this day and age it seems impossible to get a great tan safely. However I feel that Garnier Amber Solaire no streaks bronzer self-tanning spray is the answer.

MY QUEST FOR A NICE TAN

FIRST TRY
When I was younger and dafter you could say I use to use a sun bed. Well thankfully I have only probably been on one about 20 or so times. I would not dream of going on one now and definitely believe that they are not good for your health. When I did go on them the only thing that would get any colour was my tummy and my legs would still be white.

SECOND TRY
I have tried getting a tan whilst on holiday abroad, however I didn't like the first few days looking like a ghost and then only coming home with a warm red glow. I have come to the conclusion that my skin does not do tan colour only red - or so I thought.

THIRD TRY
A friend one mine used a fake tan in a cream I can't remember the make Debenhams use to stock it but do not any longer. The cream can in a bottle and when you poured it the colour for a start was dark brown and did not have a very appealing smell.

This attempt at a fake tan was a disaster. It was difficult to apply evenly, dried with streaks to an orange colour and left me with very obvious fake tan hands on my palms.

FOURTH AND FINAL ATTEMPT - BUT A TRUE SUCCESS
I now use Garnier Amber Solaire no streaks bronzer self-tanning spray. It is so easy to use. You do not have to exfoliate you just spray on like you do with deodorant and the spread with your hand. It comes in two shades light and a darker shade. As I have fair skin I use the light shade. It does not take a long time either to do.

When you first use you have to spray on every day until you achieve the depth of colour that you like and then you only need top up once or twice a week. It does not streak and dries instantly with a lovely smell. I found that the best thing is to light spray every time and build the colour up slowly that way you can avoid the usually bad brown patches on your kness and heels.

I use it all over and as it's a spray it is so easy to do the backs of your legs. I have found that for best result after you spray on arms and legs it is best to spread up your arms and legs as opposed to towards your wrists and ankles. However you can NOT use it for your face.

It looks nice not orange and natural as opposed to fake The cost is just under £5 for a125ml from Tescos but superdrugs do sell it too and it's worth checking out other stores as sometimes they are on offer. A spray can last anything up to 5/6 weeks just depends on how much you use.

Another good thing is that after you have applied the tan and wash your hands they come clean and do not leave a tell tale sign.

If it sounds too good to be a true I will admit that I have found only one if you can call it a disadvantage and that is that you need to keep using it regularly like it says, because if you don't the colour does not look so good as it fades. But if like me once you start using it and see how easy it is then its no hassle to keep it up.

A healthy and safe option - must be worth a go.

Great review! Does sound too good to be true but it sounds worth a try...it's just whether I could be bothered doing it every day!

Good review. I've got hooked on Johnson's holiday skin recently as it's the most streak free stuff I've ever used.

The apricot was a plus for me but by far the best plus was the lack of streaks!
