Fiber by American Crew is THE BEST WAX ever. And for £12 a tub (Size 3.53 Oz) its just as well thats its as good as it is. Suitable for any length of hair, you can create solid styles without any wet/greasy look as a side effect. Which is clearly a bonus, as a wet look is generally a BAD look.
The packaging itself is sleek and with its large blue lid, easily recognisable, and you will probably recognise it from your local salon anyway as most good hairdressers stock this product.
You wont be embaressed to have a few tubs of this in your bathroom! Unlike some less than great hair products that are availiable (normally from your local garage!)
The smell of the wax is great, which is always a good sign that you are usisng a quality product (not as nice as Fudge wax, but still very pleasent)
The tub, average in size, i find last a month or so, but this of course depends on how long your hair is and how much you would use of course!
It is described as a 'Pliable Molding Creme' and is a thick, fibrous, semi solid creme. Like any wax it is fairly sticky in texture but is easy enough to spread over your hair and very easy to control once applied. (I prefer to apply to dry hair rather than wet as it creates a more natural look!)
It doesnt feel to great in your hair like all wax as it feels kind of dirty, but its not as bad as some waxes, so thats a good thing.
For natural or deliberately styled looks this works brilliantly and holds for a long time, easily for the night, the only time it hasnt held with perfection is in REALLY HOT clubs, but generally i want to leave any club that is budget enough not to be well cooled enough to prevent my hair from literally melting.. so this, this only issue i have had with American Crew other than the slightly expensive price tag, is not a big deal.
American Crew do a range of hair products, and they have a very good reputation, and from my experience (over a year of using FIber) i can see why.
