It's not a difficult product to understand - it's soy sauce with chilli in it. True you could probably make it yourself, but seeing as how those lovely people at Amoy have taken time out of their hectic schedule to make it and ... ...you?!
As with most Amoy products this is naturally brewed and contains no MSG (monosodium glutamate is that nasty stuff you get in a lot of Chinese meals which makes you feel full and then hungry an hour or so later - amongst other side-effects)
Amoy also proclaim that the sauce is clear of "3-MCPD and 1,3-DCP Contaminants." Now to be fair I have absolutely no idea what these are, but I guess it's a good thing they're not in my soy sauce
