...my eye. Buy one Amplex roll on for 69p and get the other free! This I did. To choose from, the fragrances where For Men, Aloe, and Original and out of these I chose two original roll ons! When I got home it was time to try it on. The first disaster was that I thought the roller ball to be a little small, so I ended up having to roll my pits about 5 times just to cover them both. The deodorant seemed sticky, but smelt like the sea - nice and fresh. ...
...and are simply coloured, with mainly a see through bottle with AMPLEX written on it through a coloured band. The information given on the bottles is BAD, as there are no ingredients or nothing! They are not really recommended, but hey, that is only my opinion! aliencow. ... Read review

Amplex For Men Ahhh...there's nothing like a bus journey on a hot summer's day to remind you just how important finding the right deodorant is. Nothing like being stuck in the office, computer lab, classroom etc. next to someone who has yet to find the right one yet and nothing worse than the uncomfortable feeling that perhaps yours isn't doing its job right! I have a problem with deodorants, but I have more of a problem with those who don't use ...

Amplex is one of the few I can wear without putting myself in some kind of discomfort for the pleasure of other peoples noses! ~So What Is It?~ Amplex 'For Men' is the humorous title of this particular brand. Humorous to me that they genderise these products when in all fairness a deodorant which has such little smell, is invisible when applied, comes in a neutral packaging(doesn't have testicles or facial hair either) ... If you want to stand in a lift and be unnoticed this product will stand you in good stead. If you want an anti perspirant that will last you all day, this will be good for you. But!!! can you stand feeling very wet for ages after you have applied it and are you happy for your clothes to bear a white stain. Disadvantages: doesn’t dry as quickly as Sure, doesn’t smell as good as Vaseline Intensive Care

...roll-ons, I would say that Amplex fares quite well as it is inexpensive and reliable. It did not dry as quickly as Sure though and therefore would not be ideal if you were in a hurry. The Vaseline Intensive Care roll-on remains my favourite, as the scent is more appealing and the liquid is slightly thicker. I have a last found a brilliant anti- perspirant deodorant, it is a roll on type, so it’s very easy to apply, and has a lovely sweet smelling fragrance, which is called Tropical. It reminds me of oranges, melons, just really fruity. It contains Aloe Vera, which is valued for its skin caring properties. It is dermatologically tested and gives twenty- four, hour protection. ...I found that it is very quick drying, which is great when you are in a hurry. It is priced very reasonable at 69p, and that’s for the 60ml size. I will say that I buy mine from wilko’s, as it’s cheaper than in chemists. ...I tried Mum when I was unable to get my Amplex. I found the roll on a bit too dry. My skin got caught regularly between the ball and the holder. The scent was quite nice, and they did a good variety, but I didn't feel particularly confident in using it, and I would not try it again unless there were no other alternatives, or it was too good value-wise to pass up. Even then I would have to think long and hard. The advantages are at least that it is easy to come by, and the glass bottle seems of good quality... Read review

...it and threw away the last of my Amplex in disgust. It’s appears to be a dry roll on with a subtle smell of Brut. I think its meant to be more oceanic but I think its Brut. The stick reminds me of a vanish bar but don’t be tempted to rub it onto your laundry! However upon application it actually takes a while for your armpits to dry, they feel quite sticky for a good few minutes. You may end up flapping like a chicken for a while in the bathroom before you get your clothes on. Its also hard to judge just how much you have put on so don’t get carried away. There are no white patches which normal roll on’s leave and its good for sensitive skin. However, I find it does not last all day and you have to reapply. The smell doesn’t release either and you get paranoid the essence of B.O. is drifting up from your t-shirt by midday. So much... Read review
