Right the beast is ready to be fired up; the recevier comes with a standard power cable, throw this away and buy a new one, even if it is as little as £70! It makes a huge difference. Advantages: Heavy Duties and feels like its powerful - which it is!!
Disadvantages: Slighty heavy but i don't really care - its powerful!!

This amplifier is one of the best amps i have purchased to date. It produces tight punchy bass and gives exceptional sound quality. When i first plugged it in and connected my speakers i was shocked by how much power this thing had. I purchased this amp from my local Hi-Fi Specialists, as patr of a complete home cinema system. The amp is an excellent performer, with huge amounts of inputs and outputs that will even take me some time to fully utilise. The setting are almost endless, so I would strongly recommend getting a professional to assist you with this. The remote control helped sell this for me.....it is backlit, and activates whenever it is moved.......gorgeous !!! ...

...the risk not knowing what Acoustic Solutions brand was like. So, now I have bought the DAB part of it and I think it's excellent. It has never broken down on me and I would recommend Acoustic Solutions to anybody. It is attractive but not overtly and looks and works as good as any Sony or expensive brand.
