I have sent things twice and collected things a couple of times. Both times when visiting the local depot to send a parcel for cash the staff have been initially unwelcoming and unhelpful, even suggesting that the service I wanted was not offered. In both cases once I finally persuaded a member of staff to take some interest in my presence and parcel things got better and sending a parcel to Germany took 20 minutes it did indeed get processed at the correct charge. The UK parcel that I sent was delivered next day without problem, long distance. This firm unlike some does accept cash or cheque payment at depots - but you have to insist, obviously the staff don't do this often and it is a nuisance as far as they are concerned. If you refuse to wait in all day for a collection and you have a car, taking the parcel to the local depot is a good deal more convenient. They do world-wide deliveries, so I think they are perhaps not as bad as most of the others!!!
