Just a few facts about Anadin Extra before I begin:

Have you ever experienced a one-sided headache? ~ a constant pounding accompanied by nausea and vomiting. If you have then you know what its like to be a migraine sufferer ~ having a headache is one thing but a migraine headache is deadly, the pain is so intense that you are unable to think straight and all you want to do is lie down. A migraine attack is caused when the head & brain is being starved of oxygen, a change in the blood vessels supplying the brain. So after suffering almost ten years with these damn
headaches & trying a wealth of medicinal products in search of a cure I was getting nowhere. Most tablets I tried were either too weak or too strong with possible side effects, whilst others promised quick relief but had no effect. Its too good to be true, especially after suffering for so many years but it really does work & I’m now getting fewer headaches ~ the few I do get I no longer have to worry or panic myself about all that pain.

==============Anadin Extra tablets contain many compounds but the main two active ingredients are
• ~ Paracetamol ~ An ingredient that is found in numerous medicinal products ~ it is mild pain reliever & at the same time it lowers the body temperature ~ it has no anti-inflammatory properties. ~ Anadin Extra contains 200mg of paracetamol.
WARNING: ~ People who suffer from liver/kidney problems should take paracetamal with caution.

• ~ Aspirin ~ Aspirin has to be one of the most widely used drug ~ It has been used for more than a century as a pain & fever remedy. According to scientists aspirin reduces fever by causing the blood vessels in our skin to open, thus allowing more heat to leave our bodies more rapidly. Aspirin has a great effect on pains & inflammation, such as swollen joints, muscle pains, ligaments etc. ~ Anadin Extra contains 300mg of aspirin.
WARNING: ~ People with liver/kidney problems, asthma/breathing problems, stomach ulcers, & children under the age of 12 should avoid aspirin.
I don’t know whether it’s the combination of the paracetamol & aspirin that improves the pain-relieving effect BUT one thing I do know is that Anadin Extra works for me & without any side-effects (rashes etc) ~ I quote “fast, effective pain relief” that’s what’s written on the tiny yellow box & that’s what Anadin Extra does.

Tablets are sold in different colours & different sizes ~ You can just tell that plenty of thought has gone into the Anadin Extra tablet. This may sound silly but have you ever tried to swallow a chunky tablet that just won’t go down your windpipe & whilst your struggling to swallow, it starts to melt in your mouth, leaving a horrible & bitter taste ~ Yuk! Yuk! ~
The Anadin Extra tablet is designed to make it easier to consume ~ the white tablet is specially shaped for easy swallowing ~ the oval shaped compressed tablet has a special coating on it and when swallowing it feels smooth on the tongue and has no problems going down your throat without causing any discomfort.

• ~ Adults ~ 2 tablets every four hours.
• ~ Children over 12 ~ 2 tablets every four hours
• ~ Elderly ~ 2 tablets very four hours

The bottom line is ~ ANADIN EXTRA WORKS & like my title suggests, a wonder drug that I couldn’t do without.
I usually vomit at least twice during each period, and they're absolutely agonising. This is the only stuff that works, although it doesn't take away the pain completely! x
