Full review
You can find the BBC World Service programme on MW: 648 KHz and
LW: 198 KHz. ANALYSIS 1 of its daily programmes broadcasts at 3.45 most weekdays. Today’s programme covered devolution, Scotland and Tony Blair’s Labour government.

FORMAT

The programme starts with an introduction of the topic and then correspondents report on the subject. Today we had a traditional music accompaniment to the subject. Topics mentioned include electoral empowerment and talk of further independence. News of the Queens attendance at the opening of Hollyroot.

The topic and issues were presented in a way that was not to complex in its analysis in a magazine style. Male and female presenters are included in the show. At 15 minutes it’s not too long to get boring but just long enough to cover the facts.

I listened to mine via Windows Media player and the Internet an exciting new medium.

UPDATES on further developments to follow.
