Stop Cracking Up! - Start looking gorgeous!

Advantages: Cheap, witty quotes and nice packaging, Soothing, not heavy feeling, I could go on!
Disadvantages: None that i've found really! maybe if it had a lip applicator?

I am FOREVER looking for lip balm, I must have tried a million of them but none have really made me want more. So whilst looking for yet another balm to not only solve my cracked and flaky lips but also to soothe them, I came across this brand 'Anatomicals'. I had never heard of their products before and I won't lie what first drew me in was the price! then the packaging and cute little insights printed on the tubes! (i love having something witty to read on beauty products!) so i took the bait! So when i got it i was really excited to try it out! The 15ml tube reads: "Suffering from wind (not to mention the cold and sun)? then squeeze a small amount of this soothing balm onto your finger and apply to your lips ensuring they're not as dry as your local AA Meeting. We only want you for your body." (It also has another little ...

Carmex Lip Balm

Advantages: heals sore lips
Disadvantages: not available in Czech rep. so I have to import

Carmex Lip Balm I have started to use Carmex lipbalm on a friend's recommendation and I was surprised to see and feel how well it worked! I've always suffered of dried and cracky lips particularly in winter and even if I always was equipped with lip balms and spent quite some money on it as I preferred stuff like Labello, it never really had a long-term effect. Neutrogena wasn't all bad either, but I have to say Carmex was where the revolution in lip care has come. Package Carmex comes in a form of a lipstick, a little jar and a squeezable tube. The jars were introduced already back in 1937! All containers are in red+yellow and black which remind me of beeswax somehow. It gives impression of sth natural and good for your health. Carmex original was lately accompanied by strawberry and cherry version - those I didn ...

The Best Lip Balm

Advantages: Smells lovely, contains SPF15, excellent moisturising properties, non sticky, cheap
Disadvantages: None

. I buy mine from Boots where it is £1.69 but I think you can also buy it in Superdrug. The lip balm itself is a light yellow coloured solid block which comes in a cylindrical tube that contains 4g of the product. The lid pulls off easily and you twist the bottom of the tube to get the lip balm to move up to the top (like a lipstick). I prefer tubes to pots as you don't end up with sticky fingers and it is easier and quicker to apply the balm. Also you don't have to worry about it going up behind your nails if they are on the long side. The packaging is not at all girly so it shouldn't put men off using it, but I'm not sure if the fact it resembles a lipstick might stop them using it. To apply simple wipe across lips, very simple. It can be applied liberally as often as needed. The back of the packet states that is shouldn't be used ...
