Anatomicals Stop Cracking Up

...out!! Especially as it's SO cheap!

I am FOREVER looking for lip balm, I must have tried a million of them but none have really made me want more.
So whilst looking for yet another balm to not only solve my cracked and flaky lips but also to soothe them, I came across this brand 'Anatomicals'.
I had never heard of their products before and I won't lie what first drew me in was the price!
then the packaging and cute little insights printed on the tubes! (i love having something witty to read on beauty products!) so i took the bait!

So when i got it i was really excited to try it out!
The 15ml tube reads:
"Suffering from wind (not to mention the cold and sun)? then squeeze a small amount of this soothing balm onto your finger and apply to your lips ensuring they're not as dry as your local AA Meeting.
We only want you for your body."
(It also has another little witty quote on the outer box)

Screwing off the lid this isn't like a normal lip balm - It hasn't got one of those curved lip applicators it's just a normal screw top tube.
So i squeezed and was really suprized to see that it in fact wasn't a typical balm at all!
It's a clear kind of gel substance!

So there i went smoothing it on to my dry lips. i expected it to be really thin but it is like a balm consistency when you apply it!
In seconds of rubbing it in my lips felt really hydrated, smooth and soft!
There is not really any taste on the 'balm' so no unpleasant after taste! and it is just so nice on my lips.
It's not sticky like some I've tried and it doesn't have that heavy feeling like I've smothered my lips in cream! lol
It sinks in immediately after applying it and leaves them feeling soothed. it also gives a nice sheen when it's absorbed

- I also now keep this in my little mini fridge in my room so when i need to apply it it's chilled - therefore being even more soothing on dry lips.

This is the best balm I've found so far and I will DEFINITELY be buying more when it runs out!! Especially as it's SO cheap!
