Anchor butter from New Zealand has long been a big favourite with British housewives and,I should add, this reviewer as well. New Zealand is one of the least polluted coiuntries on the planet and dairy cows also have fine pasture to graze on. No wonder dairy products from the "land of the Kiwis" are held in such high esteem.

Now the Anchor butter people have come up with Anchor Spreadable in nice containers. Tubs are available in 250 gr and 500 gr sizes and the retail price is around 95 pence and Stg 1.70 pounds respectively. So the new product is really not that expensivefor something that is so convenient.Invest in a tub of Anchor Spreadable and what will you get ?

What you will get is a mighty fine product. The butter, just like normal Anchor, has a delightful flavour and is ideal for spreading on sandwiches,on croissants,on a baguette and on morning toast. It has a pleasant smell and a most satisfying taste. Even if you had it in your butter dish in the fridge it is dead easy to spread, which is very convenient if you are in a hurry.

Of course you can use Anchor spreadable in your cooking and your recipes which require a bit of butter will taste just fine if you use Anchor Spreadable.I find it goes great when you making up the likes of Onion or Parsley sauce and it is nice when added to Scrambled Eggs or a tasty, zesty, Omelettte.I also happen to love toasted crumpets and English scones and I find Anchor Spreadable goes very well with these delectable products from dear old "Blighty".A dollop or two on a pancake is also nice.

New Zealand Milk have a strong presence in the UK and if you have any queries concerning Anchor products you can contact :

I guess this butter is quite healthy since it has a relatively low salt content. It certainly is a fine tasting, pleasant, product which maintains the high reputation that New Zealand dairy products enjoy. It gets a big thumbs-up from me.

Thanks very much for reading.
