Andrex Moist Toilet Tissue Wipes

I had never really seen these moist toilet tissue wipes advertised before so when I found them, I was shocked that they were by Andrex as I thought I'd have heard more about them. I thought they sounded quite a good idea so I popped a packed into my trolley. They are wipes for the toilet which sounds a bit unusual but they don't have to be used after you go to the toilet, they can also be used just to clean yourself and feel fresh. I bought these for my daughter when she first started wiping her own bum after going to the toilet as we thought they would easier for her to use, we had been letting her use normal baby wipes however when the drains blocked we soon realised this was not the best of ideas. The wipes cost about £2 if you want the tub with them which we did as it meant they were easier to get out and then only one wipe would be used at a time, the tub is plastic and holds 42 wipes and then you can buy the refill packs of 42 wipes for £1. I have tried out several different brands of ‘moist’ toilet paper in the past and have found all of them to be quite good and very convenient to use. When I was shopping in a local branch of ‘Asda’ supermarket recently, I noticed that they were selling packs of the Andrex Fresh Moistened Toilet Tissue Wipes for £1, which I thought was reasonable value given that Andrex is to me at least, a kind of ‘premium’ brand when it comes to product like this. I actually trialled this product for a survey site a few years ago, I remember being more impressed with the box than the toilet tissue itself so when Mark came home with a couple of packs I rolled my eyes and wished I'd gone to the shop myself. He'd bought it because it was on special offer, I wish he hadn't bothered. While moist toilet tissue might sound a great idea, it's not. These Andrex tissues are too wet to really be of any use, if you've bought them so you can cut down on the amount of normal (ie. dry) you'll be disappointed as after using the moist tissues you'll more than likely ... more

Recently I had a bout of constipation, and the straining left me with a rather sore bottom - a bottom that needed some TLC in order to recover.
