Advantages: Beautiful, regal, clever, overwhelmingly affectionate
Disadvantages: The love they demand might be too much if you like aloof, independant cats

Much confusion surrounds the Angora breed of cats. It remains one of less well-known breeds in this country but a number of good placings in national cat shows will surely help to raise the profile of a beautiful and elegant cat. It doesn’t help that the cat has been known by a number of different names, nor that there is a totally different cat called the Turkish Angora.
