...I bought a Jeep 2.8 CRD Ltd after reading a number of reviews in Jan 2007, and now I wish I never had.
Prior to this I had Shoguns and other equivalent 4x4's but fancied a change and went for the Cherokee.
The drive is fine, comfortable and does have many refinements. However I have had a number of teething problems which it has been in and out for to the dealer. Aircon never worked went in for twice - Key continually stuck in the ignition lock and wouldn't come out no matter where you put the automatic box. Often couldn't get it out of park mode even with much pressure on the brakes. Brakes often felt soft and peddle went down on to the floor when stood still - techniciaian came and advised there was a problem - went into the garage where they advised it was normal!!

...Letter to Audi Head of UK: Jeremy Hicks, Audi Customer case reference number: 73255. I would strongly advise anyone from using Audi Finchley, their service must be the worst customer service I have ever received, I will keep this post updated to inform readers if the matter was resolved or if I ended up taking legal action. As a furhter note to anyone getting their Audi serviced or repaired by an authorised dealer you should note that Audi Finchley Road is owned by Spire Automotive Ltd and they also own Watford Audi, Hatfield Audi and Whetstone Audi - so I would advise anyone who expects Audi customer service to keep well away from these dealerships.

Advantages: Lots of space, easy to drive, stow and go seating, well equipped and happy children Disadvantages: Expensive

We choose the Limited model which is very well equipped with lots of safety features and many toys.

We choose the Ltd rather than the Ltd XS which for about £1800 more only gives you Sat Nav and built in DVD, we can buy our own for a lot cheaper.
So far so good very happy with car and no problems to write about. Please shop around and haggle for best prices, we opted for contract hire and dealer matched the best Internet price...
