They created Anheuser World Select to combat the likes of Heineken (not a great beer, but the most widely available of the Euro variety). It was officially launched nationwide in January 2004. Thought I would try it, despite the AB name.

Anheuser pours a very clear and pale golden color. It produces a decent white, creamy head, and there is not a whole lot of carbonation underneath.
There is a yeastiness on the nose with some sweet malt notes and a very shy grassy hop smell. At first taste, there is a brief splash of citrus, soon enveloped by a malted grain flavor with some floral hops deeply hidden in the background. It’s medium(ish) bodied with ...
