Animal Crossing: Wild World(ACWW) is an RPG game. You live a life in ACWW.

Starting
You are riding in a cab and the cab driver talks to you for ages. Then he asks you if your a Mr. or a Mrs. then he says where are you off to. You have to type in a made up place or a real place. (I picked London) then he talks some more. When you get to your town. You get out of the taxi and go in to the town hall.(it does it for you). Then Pelly talks to you some more. Then you can explore the town.

Your House
Your house is very basic and small. You have a small room when you walk in to the house and a staircase to your left. Up the staircase is an attic. In there is your bed where you can sleep and save. You can only decorate the downstairs room(not the attic). You can decorate the walls by buying wallpaper etc. You can also decorate you floor with tiles, rugs etc. You can buy stuff to make it look nicer like I have a robo chair, Hifi stereo, Lamp, Screen. You have a red letter box outside (American style) if a blue thing is up at the side on it that means you have mail. To buy a bigger house you have to pay your mortgage at the town hall, which goes to tom nook.

Tom Nooks Shop
Tom nooks shop is about the size of your downstairs room. You can buy a fishing rod, watering can, paper etc. Will time progresses tom announces on the town message board out side the town hall. that the shop will be closed on a certain date(mine was 6th feb) to refurbish the store and increase the size. He then gets a larger shop with automatic doors. In some shops that I have been to when visiting other towns (wifi) have an upstairs, ground floor and a hair salon(they made me ginger) I have only get to the one with automatic doors.

Characters
I will now list a few characters which I know about:
Brooker: is a bulldog who runs the lost and found. he also allows you to change the design of the flag.
Brewster: is a greeny-grayey pigeon who serves coffee at the roost in the basement at the museum.
Celeste: is introduced in Wild World. She is the owl caretaker of the telescope and observatory in the upstairs area of the museum. You can create your own Constellations, which can be viewed either by looking through her telescope or at night outdoors in the players town. It is rumored that if you go up to her everyday and say "Your Cute!" you will befriend her.
Copper: Is an officious dog police officer. In Animal Crossing on the Nintendo GameCube he warns the player about up coming visits from a non-playable character. But on ACWW on the Nintendo Ds he handles connecting to other players' towns and other Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection tasks.
Mable Able: is the hedgehog and is manager of the able sisters shop(Clothes shop). She allows visitors to create designs and put them on display. On ACWW she sells various clothes , headgear and accessories e.g. Eye Patch, Glasses etc.
Sable Able: is the eldest out of the two Able sisters but is very shy and always sits at the table and sews. If the player talks to her 16 times she will start saying other things rather than ….. Or "I am to busy".
Pelly: is a pelican that works in the town hall during the day. She is very much devoted to her job unlike her sister Phyllis
Phyllis: is extremely rude and also works in the town hall like her sister Pelly. He normally mutters and says stuff under her breath.
Mr. Sonny Rosetti: is an extremely bad tempered mole. When a player shuts off there Nintendo GameCube or Nintendo DS while playing Animal Crossing and they don't save, Rosetti appears when you next turn Animal Crossing and warns you about losing valuable data but gives you a warning and lets you off lightly. If the players continues to turn off Animal Crossing without saving he appears again when you turn the game back on, and delivers even longer rants and lectures and he shouts them even angrier.
Tom Nook: is the owner of Animal Crossings main store. Tom Nook may be referred as a Raccoon but he is actually a Tanuki. He supplies you with a temporarily employment at the begging but soon tells you that there is no more jobs. He is also you Landlord and you have to pay off your mortgage to him through the Town Hall. Once you have paid your mortgage you should go and see him at the shop. He will talk to you about the mortgage and then say what color would you like your new house. There is Hot Pink, Sky Blue, Pale Green etc. He will expand your room for the first two times then he will ask you if you want an extra room if you want he will. The new house is always built the next day. The mortgage increases each time.
Tortimer: is the mayor of your town. He is an old tortoise and spends most of his time asleep in the Town hall or at the wishing well. He will leave his normal location for special events happening in the town.

Tools
Catapult: is used when you see an object flying through the air. You have to quickly your catapult out and run and try to shoot the object out of the sky. The objects include: A present on a balloon, pelican etc. You can get a normal catapult and a golden catapult but I don't know how to get that one.
Fishing Rod: is obviously used to fish. You throw it in the water when there is a fish and wait for it to come and bite the bait. Then the fish will bite it then swim away. Then it will come back. It will repeat this for about 3-4 times then the ball thing with sink in to the water. Click on your character then you should have caught the fish. There are many different fish including: Football Fish, Pond Smelt, Horse Mackerel etc. You can also catch boots and tin cans. You can get a normal Fishing Rod and a golden one. I don't know how you get one of them either. I got mine from someone else's town. You can put the fish in you museum Aquarium.
Axe: is to cut down trees if your town gets over crowded with them. If you are going to cut down a fruit tree then you are better off shaking the tree to get the fruit off it before you cut it, if you want the fruit. I wouldn't cut down someone else's tree in another town otherwise they will get extremely angry and come to your town and cut yours down. I have had that experience lol(I cut down someone's tree accidental). You can get a normal axe and a Golden axe
Shovel: to dig up any tree stumps after you have cut down a tree if you don't want them in your town. Also if you find a crack on your town floor(you will find a fair few) you should dig it up. Because chances are you will find a fossil which you can put in your museum or sell or a statue which you can either sell or put in your house which is funny as they dance(lol). But in someone else's town they might have buried an acorn or a piece of clothing and even a piece of furniture. You can get a normal shovel and a Golden Shovel
Net: is to catch bugs on trees or in the air. You can find different bugs in someone else's town. As I did(I found a firefly). You have to be very sneaky and be quite quick. You can also put them in the museum. The bugs include: Silk Moth, Cockroach, Firefly etc. You can get a normal net and a golden net
Watering Can: is to water the plants in your town. That is all you can do with the watering can
Wi-fi Connectivity
You use Wi-Fi to play with other people around the world and make friends with them. To connect to Wi-Fi you have to go to other on the start screen of Animal Crossing. The you have to go to Wi-Fi settings. If you have a wireless router/modem you have to search for it. Then you have to type in the Wireless key. Then you will have to go to Copper and get a friend code. Then you will have to write it down and keep it safe. You will have to get some friends so you should go to www.ds-play.com where you will have to sign up but there is a chat room to go on and exchange friend codes with people and add them to your Friends Router. You will also have to tell them your character name and town. Then you will have to go back to Copper and talk to him then click I wanna go out then he will ask you if you want to start Wi-fi communications you should click yes. Then you will see if any off your friends have there gates open if they do then you can go to there town If you do not have a wireless router/modem then you will have to plug a USB cable in to the computer. It will tell the instructions in the Animal Crossing Manual. I done it by wireless router/modem.

Map
You can access your map by clicking on the arrow on the top right-hand side of your screen. Then you will need to click on the house icon on the top. There you will see a key so you will know where your house and other non-playable characters houses in your town. There will be to little icons a blue one and a red one above the key. Click on the red one to see where the shop, Town Hall, Shop and the gate. There will be a little purple person flashing on the map. That is where you are.

Mailing Letters
You can mail letters to any non-playable character in your town by buying paper from Tom Nooks shop. If he has none in stock because a player from another town has come to your town and brought them or a player living In your house then you can ordering it by asking Tom Nook for the catalogue. When you get the paper you can write a letter. Once you have written a letter you should go to the town hall to mail it. There is town sections in the town hall. There will be two mats on the floor. One is green with a picture of a house on it which you would go to too get information about the environment to make up a town tune. The red one is to access account, mail a letter and to pay the mortgage. The funny thing Is, is when you write a letter to a character even a non-playable one they will send one back. If you send them a gift they may send you one back.

Selling
If you need more money(bells) then you should go to the beach as you will find shells on there which you can sell to Tom Nook for bells. You can also sell Fruit and unwanted furniture and clothes to him.(If you get a fossil which you should check at the museum) and you already have it in the museum you can sell it for loads of bells. The only thing at the moment which Tom Nook can not buy is a pitfall seed and work uniform. They may be some more.

Opinion
I think this game is awesome. I got this game for my Birthday which my dad got me. I was addicted to it for days. The sound is ok but It is really realistic but it is funny. The graphics isn't that realistic but they are playable.

Animal Crossing WW is Addictive
Review of Animal Crossing: Wild World (Nintendo DS) by amyprincess

Advantages: can be addictive, interact with neighbours
Disadvantages: wi fi is pretty essential, requires a lot of time and patience

This is one of the few games that Nintendo DS advertise in the "girl's games" section. From the advert I was pretty excited about it. It was the second game I had decided to buy for my DS so was expecting it to keep me satisfied for a while. First time round I was a little disappointed as I imagined a game that was jam packed full of things to do but I just started playing it again and I am really enjoying it. ***The Game*** The opening went on ...
...taxi and in order to choose my name and sex for my character I had to answer the taxi driver's questions "What's your name" and then use my stylus to touch the right letters on a keyboard on my touch screen. Okay, I've finally arrived in my town and I head over to see Tom Nook. Tom Nook is your best friend when you want a bigger house but also your worst enemy as he is making you skint! The purpose of the game is to pay off the mortgage to Tom Nook. ... Read review

There's No Recession In This Town!
Review of Animal Crossing: Wild World (Nintendo DS) by Claire_DC

Advantages: Addictive and fun, well made and thought out with real time play
Disadvantages: Addictive, real time play, shop hours & shop closing, no real aims in the game

...one of these games was Animal Crossing - Wild World. I had been recommended it by a male friend of mine, but didn't really know what it was about as such (bar a little insight from the advert on TV) so have been playing it for a while to see what it is all about. You start off in a taxi, where you are asked where you want to go to… I wasn't sure where to put so I hazarded a guess and said 'home' *cue the family fortunes noise for the wrong answer*; ...
...the town I wanted to create, silly me for not reading up on it so I now live in a town called 'home'. When you get to your town, you will pull up outside the town hall, and there you can go in and speak to the person on the counter who will tell you where your house is, and a few other bits that you may need to know. The town hall is also the local post office/bank - you just direct your character to whichever side of the counter you are requiring. ... Read review

Neighbours Around the World
Review of Animal Crossing: Wild World (Nintendo DS) by 3rdRockSatan

Advantages: Great in portable form | Quite a lot to do | Online play
Disadvantages: Slow paced for some

The GameCube release of Animal Crossing was a perfect example of how annoying it can be to live life as a PAL territory gamer. After the release in Japan and America, Europe still had to wait for years before the game finally showed up on our shores with Nintendo sporting the 'localisation issues' excuse. When it did come, however, and for those that hadn't already imported it gamers were greeted with pretty much what they had wanted for so long, ...
...previous versions of the game, Animal Crossing is a life simulator based in a green little down where, predictably, the population is entirely made up of animals. For some odd reason you, as a human, decide to leave the comforts of your own home and come live the idyllic life with the animals. You manage to get yourself a house thanks to the local shop owner Tom Nook whole you'll grow to loathe over time due to his mortgage fees he lumbers you with. ... Read review

WARNING! Animal Crossing is EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE!
Review of Animal Crossing: Wild World (Nintendo DS) by Luvlylana

Advantages: Could literally keep going for ever
Disadvantages: Characters could get irritating

...should steer well clear of Animal Crossing: Wild World. It took me a few goes to get into it, but by my third play on it I was completely and utterly hooked. Background/History -------------------------- Animal Crossing started off as a Nintendo 64 game in Japan, in 2001. Due to the decline in popularity of the N64, sales were not as good as expected, and so the Animal Crossing game concept was redeveloped as a GameCube game. It was released in ...

The Game --------------- Animal Crossing: Wild World is an RPG, meaning a role-playing game or a social simulator if you like. The game differs for each unique player - it follows a simple preset plot that can be altered by the actions of the user, resulting in different consequences to affect your personal game. The game also reflects real life in that ... Read review

Review of Animal Crossing: Wild World (Nintendo DS) by master_of_shadows

Advantages: Great and easy to play
Disadvantages: Can get addictive

Animal Crossing: Wild World is a fun-filled game suitable for all ages (PEGI rated 3+). There are millions of items to collect such as clothes, umbrellas, flowers, fish, insects, furniture and even fossils. There's also many different characters to meet too. Most of this stuff will be explained later in the review. Starting Your New Game It is really easy to start a new game. Simply touch "New Game" with your stylus* at the title screen. (*Your ...

Good, for the younger gamers.
Review of Nintendo DS by  bilp

Advantages: Wi-Fi, wide range of games.
Disadvantages: Bad screen, not for 'hardcore' gamer.

...this does take out the probem of you not knowing who your talking to. Heres some games I would recommend to buy for the Nintendo DS. Goldeneye: Rouge Agent, Need For Speed: Most Wanted, WarioWare: Touched, Animal Crossing: Wild World, all of the Nintendogs, Mario Kart DS, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Trauma Centre and Hotel Dusk. If you want an updated version of the DS, get the Nintendo DS Lite, I wouldn't upgrade to the Lite because the only thing different between the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo DS Lite is that the Lite is smaller, more attractive, has a different layout of controls and mic and the screen brightness is better. To me all of these new 'features' don't bother me. If you want to go on the internet on your DS all you have to do is buy the Nintendo DS Browser. Nintendo DS Leads Portable Gaming Inovation
Review of Nintendo DS by  danlew

Advantages: Tocuh Screen, Dual Screen, Plays GBA Games, Voice Recognition, Games Libary, Free Wi-fi
Disadvantages: Start Button Position, Bulky Design

...Nintendo launched there DS to a good library of launch games however games soon dried up while the psp began to launch. However the DS picked up when the PSP went through it’s own game drought and is now I feel the best portable system solely for gaming. It’s games library includes many high class titles such as Tetris DS, New Super Mario Bros, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Mario kart DS and many more. Nintendo also showed many yet to be released games at e3 for example Starfox DS and the eagerly awaited Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. The tough screen makes games never before possible jump to life, twined with it’s good voice recognition and Nintendo’s disruption based games such as Brain age and Electoplankton. The free Wi-Fi is also a very good feature however friend codes do lessen the enjoyment somewhat... Read review
