Advantages: saves money on vet bills, uses natural remedies
Disadvantages: need to be careful you do not mis-diagnose, you need a small syringe

Piggy Potions
Advantages: Clear, detailed advice based on many years of experience.
Disadvantages: Illustrations make it look like a children's book. Do not be fooled!

A marvellous resource - AND a good read!
Advantages: Like having a Guinea Pig expert available 24hrs a day.
Disadvantages: Gives the impression of being a little childishly produced - but ignore that, its worth every penny.
This is a marvellous little book and a real "must have" for all Guinea Pig owners, but particularly those amongst us who are keen to explore a more natural way of life and utilise alternative remedies before dashing straight off to the vet. Peter Gurn ...

Guinea pig Potions
Advantages: very handy, easy to use quickly, to the point
Disadvantages: none that I could find
This book is invaluable for guinea pig owners as it gives you ideas that can help your pet before you get to the vet's and will tell you if the condition even warrants a trip to the vets.
