Excellent for dog owners as well as wildlife fans.

Advantages: Shed new life on the alpha dog myths, beautiful photos, very informative.
Disadvantages: Printed cover would have been nice.

From the time my children were able to speak, I have given them a "book allowance". A couple of times each month they are allowed to choose anything they would like to read from Amazon and I pay for it. This book was chosen by my youngest son, age 6, as h ...

Excellent advice for training the perfect recall

Advantages: Clear, useful information on training the recall.
Disadvantages: Not very exciting, some editing errors.

'Total Recall' is 248 pages devoted to one topic only - teaching your dog to come when called. This might sound a little boring, and to be perfectly honest, it was at times, but I still feel this is one of the best books I have come across on training. Tr ...

A book that is not always welcome.

Advantages: Advocates reward based training
Disadvantages: Absolutely no useful information, tedious and tortuous reading.

My husband isn't big on gifts. I don't feel they are necessary to prove love, and it simply makes more sense for me to choose what I want for holidays as I always want books and after Treasure Island he'd be lost. Two months ago though, out of the blue he ...
