The Greatest of the Great Apes.

nickyturnill
Advantages: An interesting and sentimental (albeit often sad) account of Dian Fossey's study of mountain gorillas
Disadvantages: The book doesn't follow a time line and tends to jump about somewhat.

Advantages: Very funny! Well written, easy read!
Disadvantages: Mascara stained cheeks at the end!

It was very easy to read and follow and very entertaining!
Marley is a very loveable character and the fact that it is a true story just makes it all the more interesting.
As funny as the start of the book is, the end is equally sad. I found myself crying ...

Puppy dog tails
Review of Marley and Me - John Grogan by
Craiglf
Advantages: Throughly entertaining read.
Disadvantages: Sad ending.

The book tells the story of John Grogan in an autobiographical fashion centered around his experiences living with a completely mad but completely adorable Labrador trawling through adorable puppy, ... ...have ever had your own dog this book will fill you with joy and if not this book will make you want to go out and get a puppy. Highly recommended. Costs £7.99 according to back cover price guide and I understand that a children's version is also available. ...
