A wonderful book
Review of The Victorians - Ann Kramer by poet831

Advantages: lots of information, divided into themes, useful homework tool or project resource, excellent for filling in information after trips to museums etc
Disadvantages: Younger ones will need parental help

...Dorling Kindersley are one of the world's best publishers of non-fiction books for children. At one time, I used to sell them to parents and playgroups, but sadly they stopped that area of their business. However, that does not mean that I stopped loving their books. Disadvantages: There are various editions, each giving a different reflection of Anne as a person.

However, as there are varous different editions of the diary it is not only the content of the diary which is questionable, but also the authenticity of the account. This surely allows Holocaust Revisionists to strengthen their argment, namely that the Holocuast did not take place? I believe that, for those truly interested in The Dairy of Anne Frank, the Critical Edition of the diary provides most interest. This incorporates all three editions and allows the reader to compare the alterations... Read review
