As you might expect, it's difficult to write an in-depth review of a case fan without having any expensive equipment to detect airflow and noise, but judging by the way these seem to keep my system cool and stay quiet at the same time, I'd say they're not half bad.
The fans came already insterted when I got my cae although I imagine they're not very hard to fit anyway, as like all fans, all you need to do is screw in four screws to mount it. All three of the fans which came of my case also used 4 pin molex connectors as wel, although form the pictures it seems like they also supports the 3 pin motherboard connector if you buy them on their own.
On the power cable to the fan there is also a 3 position switch which changes the speed of the fan depending on how cool you want your system, at the sacrifice of more noise.
When the fan is turned on the blue light emitted fomr the LED's is very noticeable and when your put three together in a case it looks very cool.
The only thing I can fault about these fans is that they are quite loud. I mean compared with your standard case fan they're about the same but if you run them on medium or high you start to notice them. This might, however, just be me. See I have these fans in a computer which is sat right next to me on my desk so even a tiny little click tends to be louder than you would expect. If the computer was on the floor, this would probably be a different matter and I would probably be able to run them all on medium and maybe even high, rather than low.
Basically if you're looking for an extra fan or two and you have your computer on the floor or you don't want it massively cooler, then go for these. They look nice and they're made by Antec so you know they're reliable. If you do want a quieter fan however, go for the Sharkoon SIlent Eagle range of fans, they tend ot be the quitest on the market. They even do glowing blue ones now I believe.
The tricool though is a good reliable fan at a good price
