The Sonata III ... ...that it includes a 500W power supply.
This is the only case I would recommend, untill the Antec Sontata IV comes out of course! I've attached photos of my case (computer is about 9 months old now, so little bit of usage and a little bit dusty) ... more
The Sonata III is simply a thing of beauty, its piano black shine screams professionalism. A double hinged door hides the drive bays, this means you don't need to be afraid of the door snapping off if its bent too far like many of the cheaper cases.
The front panel is situated below this door, and is plated in a silver colour. The panel contains 2 USB connections, an E-SATA port, power LED and HD LED, and pink mic in and green front line out.
The side of the case is very easy to take off with a simple handle to release it. The case also comes with thumb screws if you wish to secure it. Also the side of the case and the door at the front are lockable with keys provided.

The Sonata III is an improvement on the previous sonata, and includes several innovative things. Hard drives are stored horizontally with rubber mounts on the screw holes to keep them quiet and vibration free. They are also on racks so you can remove them easily without getting caught inside your computer and a million wires. There is space for a fan on the front grill of the case, and this part contains a removable and washable dust filter. The drive rails are stored in slots at the bottom of the case so you have no parts hanging around in a bag that can get lost, which is very useful.
This case can be purchased for just over £75 from ebuyer. I think I paid about £80 for it from ebuyer, which is brilliant considering that it includes a 500W power supply.
This is the only case I would recommend, untill the Antec Sontata IV comes out of course! I've attached photos of my case (computer is about 9 months old now, so little bit of usage and a little bit dusty)
Advantages: Good case, roomy, easy to install components, included PSU and fan of high quality. Disadvantages: Rubber stoppers on the bottom fall off often (this is a very minor niggle though)
I bought one of these for building my first computer about a month ago. It was extremely easy to fit all the parts inside it and I had my PC up and running inside of a few hours.
It is not clearly displayed in the picture, but the top half of the front of the case opens up to reveal the slots for your CD rom drive, floppy drive, etc. Both this door on the front and the side panel have locks on with a key provided.
There is a 500W power supply provided ... ...before you buy) This is more than enough to cope with anything you might want to power inside the case (high end graphics cards, extra fans etc.) and is supposedly 80%+ efficient. If you want to find out more about the included power supply then search around for "Antec 500W earthwatts PSU".
It's very easy to slot and screw in all the different components you would want to install, with a full range of screws etc. provided with the case. I did have ...

The third chapter in the Quiet Computing story written by Antec - it's everything you've come to expect from the prestigious Sonata line with even more upgrades and improvements. The Sonata III is whisper quiet when it comes to system noise while with the new High Definition front audio ports the sound you want your system to make will be crystal clear. And the front eSATA connector allows for simple data transfer. And all that means the Sonata III is the perfect combination of style, silence and efficiency.
