After watching Dragon's Den I thought Duncan was very rude, however after reading his latest book I see him in a different light and to be honest I think the guy is great. Coming from Glasgow and having a very poor lifestyle Duncan talks about his life from the troubles he had at school to joining the navy and life on HMS Eagle, the funny bit is when he got an dishonourably discharge for attempting to throw his commanding officer overboard. While he was on the dole he talks about how he travelled over parts of the UK and Jersey doing odd jobs and making ends meet. There are lots of laughter in this book and also times of sadness especially when Duncan lost his sister Helen in 1972 from suspected DVT.
By the time yoou have read this book you just want to get hold of Duncan and cuddle him.
