Manufacturer's product description
Apple Color OneScanner 1200/30, the first flatbed scanner for the Macintosh market to offer Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to HyperText Markup Language (HTML) conversion, a necessity for any user eager to scan documents for placement on the Internet. Apple Color OneScanner 1200/30 OCR to HTML conversion is a direct result of an exclusive software bundling agreement with Xerox for its TextBridge 3.0h software. Users simply scan a document, apply OCR, and seamlessly drag-and-drop HTML to their web authoring application within Apple's OneScanner Dispatcher software. Apple Color OneScanner 1200/30 users enjoy a 600 x 1200 optical resolution and a 4800 x 4800 interpolated resolution for improved OCR accuracy and scanning small areas at high resolutions. For superior image quality, the Apple Color OneScanner provides 30-bit depth color, which recognizes over 1 billion colors, a significant advancement over 24-bit scanners.

...Finally I have almost paid back this mac on the apple finance 6 month interest free MBNA deal and I have to say I love this mac! If i didn't had a girlfriend, i would take this to bed with me to keep me warm! this originally cost me £1200 from apple but you can buy refurbished ones from the apple.com/uk site under the store. i bought the apple care extended warranty but my feeling is i never will have to apple things rarely break down.
It is almost as sexy dare I say. LOL. if anybody wanted a computer with a superfast brain in an all in one kit then this is it. It is a flatscreen with a helluva lot of power stuffed inside it. the Intel core duo 2.16ghz cpu is super fast and the 16.9 screen is a marvellous addition. This is the quietest machine i have ever seen. I got the fright of my life one night when i left the machine turned...

nice but for who? Review ofApple Power Mac G4 Cube - PPC G4 450 MHzby
Tygier
...The cube is the latest product from Apple. It is a G4 supper computer in a 8inch cube. There are two models, one with a G4 450, 64MB RAM and 20GB HD and one with G4 500, 128MB RAM and 30GB HD. Both have DVD, USB, Firewire, 16MB ATI Rage 128 pro and 10/100 BaseT ethernet. They also ship with the new optical mouse, new keyboard and Harmon Kardon USB speakers. This machine looks fantastic (see the apple web site for pics) it is a white cube suspended in a clear case. on the top is a slot load DVD drive and an air vent. There is no fan so it is silent (apple claim only 19 decibels). The insides are easy to acsess by flipping the machine over and lifting them out. You can install 1.5 GB of RAM (if you have £3000). It also has the new monitor connector which carries signal power and USB in one lead, but is only compatibly with the new apple...

Good for the price Review ofApple Power Mac G4 Cube - PPC G4 450 MHzby

Advantages: fast, good GUI Disadvantages: expensive, less software to support
...I have to admit that G4 is too much expensive for me, though I still want if for I tired of the windows's ugly GUI. And I tired of the frequently crash of windows. The windows is not stable enough, and the speed is not satisfactory either.
I think it's pretty good for professional designer, who demands high quality image, faster speed. For those people, apple is their only choice. If they use PC, the color will not be displayed correctly. I will bring trouble for publishing.
The apple's GUI and the apperance design are all far more better then other operation system and other desktop computer. It can be called a art, not a commercial product.
So, on average, Apple is farely good for its price....
