Apple Fibre Channel cable - 2.9 m

Advantages: fast, powerful, upgradable, easy to use,
Disadvantages: big and heavy to get it home!

...I'm no graphics designer, or professional video editor. I just wanted a fast, reliable and upgradable computer which would last. This certainly fits the bill. Despite its huge size, and back breaking weight, this computer is well designed and looks great. I purchased an Apple 20" screen to match - i'm a firm believer in matching underwear! Set up couldn't be easier, thats the beauty of the Apple system. For any PC users reading this, wondering whether to switch or not - go down to your local Apple dealer and try it. Thats the only way you'll know whether its for you or not. The G5 processors (x2) make this computer excellent for multitasking e.g. if you've got more than one application open at once, or are using a demanding programme, this computer will perform brilliantly. Advantages: excellent quality, USB and Firewire ports, better than competition
Disadvantages: cabling, more exepensive than competition

.... Another nice feature is the USB (x2) and Firewire (x2) ports on the back. These make up for the lack of slots on the computer. One tiny issue though is the amount of cabling. When set up you'll have a power lead, USB and Firewire cables and the DVI cable to the computer. If you use the USB and Firewire ports on the back that'll be even more cabling. But, if you buy a nice desk, you'll never see any of it. Prices are much better now than when i bought mine - this is why i can give this 5/5. And though other manufacturers may boast a higher spec than the Apple screen, on closer inspection they're not as good. The latest thing is glossy screens - and although very bright and colourful (so's the Apple by the way!) - they aren't as sharp, they reflect light, and the viewing angles just can't beat the Apple display.
