Advantages: Fast machine for its time, easy to maintain Disadvantages: Now replaced by the Mac Pro Intel machines

The machine has a full range of USB and Firewire connections both on rear and front panels. It comes with Gigabyte Ethernet Connectivity. You get a DVR-R writer and 160G SATA harddrive. The case is almost like a piece of sculptor! Internally you also have PCI-Express slots but there are very few suppliers of these cards for Apple machines.
Our machine has been running in an Art gallery supporting two different video installations for the last 5 months without any problems and we'll install Mac OSX Server on it to use as a web server in future.
So if Apple UK still has stock or they have some refurbished machines AND you still need a 64bit PPC machine, the Power Mac G5 Dual might be for you....
