Advantages: money saver , space saver , an elegant look Disadvantages: using SD RAM, Processor speed is less
...This product is from very good company which have quality and style in their product. It si good money saver and space saver. But for Techies it is not so much of use bcaz it is using SD Ram and less speed processor , but for childeren this one is avery good option and people have less space and want to use for some homepurposes it is very reliable and complete value for money.
This product include everything which you want in your PC and it give you style and the more i,mportant thing is the after sale services which one is very good from apple. You can use it to make a small home network as it consists of ethernet card and I t consits of Combo drive by which you can read and write Cd and can read DVD.
So we can say that this product is very good for home users and childerens, but not suitable for those who want to program in using...

...As far as an AppleMac goes this is good, it has A wicked processor (1Ghz AppleG4 is not the equivelent of a PIII 1Ghz, its actually around P4 2.4Ghz)
Our school uses these speedy Mac's, they are great for multitasking and can handle pretty much anything you can throw at it (Software wise!)
One of the things i do not like that much about Apples are their design and lack of ease of upgrade (Me being a die hard PC / Windows fan)
To me it is quite an ugly machine, but who cares about that when you've got awesome flat screen effects.
And one thing i coudn't help but add in this review is the awesome sound quality - we run Itunes and you can feel the thump of the bass whilst you cringe at the treble.
Here are some specs: (the cheap one)
Ram = 128mb upgradable to 1Gb Sd-Ram
CPU = 1Ghz G4 (1000Mhz)
HD = 40Gb
Display = 17inch...

Advantages: Cheap, good spec, attractive Disadvantages: May be bulky for some
...Being an Apple you can only expect top quality and this is what you get. The eMac is mainly targeted for students going off to university, as it is the cheapest Mac in the range. The spec is good with 40gb hard drive, which is standard for most PCs now. The large 17-inch screen has great colour and depth. The overall design of the Mac is excellent and well thought out and the eMac delivers all the things the iMac can do without the high price. For around 150 pounds more you can get a DVD writer and 80gb hard drive.
The only downside I can see in the computer is that it doesn't have a flat screen and due to this, some users may find it bulky on a small/cluttered desk.
The eMac is £549 for the basic 1.25Ghz G4 and that include a CD writer, 40GB hard drive, 256 mb RAM and an ATI Radeon 9200 Graphics card. The £699 eMac has the same spec...
