Although a powerful tool, The Apple iMac lacks that certain pinash and accessibility given by Windows and other Microsoft software. Windows software can be obtained, at additional cost, and used via a emulator. A great machine for those who professionally media, however i question its practiblity in the house hold for those who are used to the \"normal\" Windows and PC layout. The Core 2 Duo offers great speed and processing power. Prices vary for this iMac, although i do recommend buying an older model second hand if you are new to the Apple empire. Hate it or love it, there is no denying the Mac is a powerful macine, Yet its full practicality can only be used by those in a few trades.
The lack of a right-click mouse button is one instance of confusing attributes.

The all-new, all-in-one iMac packs a complete, high-performance computer into a ... more
beautifully thin design. It includes built-in wireless, Mac OS X, and the iLife '08. So within minutes of opening the box, you'll be doing everything from sharing photos to creating movies and building websites.
Advantages: They're fast, protect your computer from viruses, easy to use, have lots of excellent programs. Disadvantages: You can sometimes lose work on there but that happens with all computers.
Advantages: All in one super fast PC for those lacking space Disadvantages: lack of ability to change parts, can only upgrade the RAM. price tag i suppose.
