I've had my iPod touch for 4 months now and am very pleased with it. The sound is pretty good, although I have bought some new noise reduction headphones as the standard ones that are supplied with the unit are not brilliant. Apart from that I can't fault apples design. The user interface is excellent and intuitive. Connecting to wi-fi is also straight forward, as is syncing the email app to gmail. I've yet to configure the email app to my exchange account and I have to say the official documentation on this is sketchy to say the least, but who wants their work email on a device such as this!!
The app store is where this device really shows it's teeth. There are so many great apps out there it makes the touch extremelly versatile.
The only thing I don't like about this product is how easy it is to scratch on both the front and back ...

I paid about £220 for my iPod classic and it was well worth it. With the iPod Classic you can browse you music in many different ways. The newest feature to searching for music is the cover flow feature. This is where you can browse all of your albums by the front cover and you simply click on the cover to see the track listing. You can still browse by Song, Artist, Album and most played. The video feature is excellent. You can hold up to 200 hours of video, all on your iPod Classic.
