Apple MacBook Air - 11.6" - Core 2 Duo - MacOS X 10.6 - 2 GB RAM - 128 GB SSD

This Laptop is amazing. So many of its design features are so inovative for every day use. For example, I use this laptop all day so carry it around in a bag with many other books, the wedge shaped design mwans that eern when my bag is packed to the brim that by puting the thin side in first it just slides in. Although the battery life is resonable It doesnt quite last all day some times. I would recommend getting the RAM upgrade for £80 as it rely does make a huge difference. It is remarcably thin with the front being only 3mm, to put that into perspective that means that one third of its thickness is the gap in between the two halves of the laptop. As it is smaller than an A4 peace of paper it is also very practicle for carrying arround the office.
On the other hand like all Apple products you are paying a rather hefty price for what you are getting. With mine coming up to just over £1000 pounds with a disk drive (super drive, the only one that works with macs) and the upgraded RAM. Other flaws are the durability, although the machine is metal the thickness makes it feel rather fragile. The final little dig I have is the Hard Drive capacity, with only 64 GB (Upgradeable at a hefty price) I recommend getting an external hard drive for about £30.
The final thing that I have to say is for those people who are being a bit cautiouse about a switchover from Microsft to Mac. I made the step 3 years ago now and it is one of the best tech based desisions that I have ever made. The Operating system is a lot smoother and easier to use. In the past three years I have been surfing the internet for 3 - 5 hours a day and I have never had a single virus or other issue with any apple laptop.
