For those who have expirence with mac's they will be aware of the operating system. Macbook Air runs the Apple OS X 10.5 most peopel are familiar with something like Microsoft Windows XP or Vista, OS X runs in a different way, it looks and feels didfferent, and runs in a different way, it is considerably more stableand reliable, and is often the industrial choice those in the design, music and of creative specialists for it's effective industrial standard software built in and compatability. This perticular mac, the macbook air is apples most recent release. This notebook (laptop) is holder of the title as the thinnest notebook in the world, it manages this with out comprimise to the keyboard size, or it's internal power, it has exilent build with fair processor and good ram, with options to upgrade (see the apple store) the macbook air does however lack an internal CD/DVD optical drive. however, there are ways around needing this, music film and software can nowadays all be obtained online, and in eceptional occations wheree this cannot be done, there is either the option to use another mac 's drive to do this wirelessly, or to use the externall CD/DVD drive avaliable seperatly from aspple. If using another computer, that isn't running Mac OS X, yuo will start to knotice all the thing that you require, love and frequently use missing. From the built in webcam, the style and iconic design and most importantly, the OS (operating system) and all it's features. To see more in the Mac range, more apple products or more information on the acbook air, i recomend visiting Apple.com or your nearest apple retail store.
Ps. for those of you who do require Linux, windows or another os for work etc. the macbook is capable of running this alongside Mac OS X, via bootcamp, which comes built in, to run the desired OS seperatly, or a 3rd party software that will emulate this in a seperatewindow, at the same time as Mac Os X.
