I've been a fan of the Mac for almost eighteen months now. I use an iMac at my desk and my MacBook Air goes everywhere with me. It's like a sophisticated friend that I can carry around with ease and it's performance is second to none. From working on documents using Pages (a superb word processing package which comes with the MacBook Air) to browsing the web, everything my Macbook air does is with elegance and speed.

Like all Mac products this gorgeous laptop works straight out of the box. It doesn't have a bulky CD or DVD drive to weigh it down but, if you prefer one then this is simply remedied by the addition of the optional Super Drive, so it's not necessarily a disadvantage. The touchpad functionality is advanced too, allowing you to zoom in and out of images and documents with a simple stretch of your fingertips. You can personalize the way you use the touchpad to suit your individual preferences and, like all Mac systems, it's incredibly easy for a beginner to use.
