This is a great product that does what it says on the tin. The read speed is very good and if you are using it with a Macbook air you will not need any extra software to write, read or play DVDs/CDs. In my opinion I think that the design is very nice and attractive although the product is slightly heavy.
The reasons that I have given this product 4 stars instead of 5 are firstly the fact that this product will only work with the Macbook air. I tried using it on my Sony Vaio laptop, which had a broken DVD drive, and it did not work. Secondly this product is quite expensive and for this amount of money I would expect it to read Blu-ray discs.Overall this is a great product but it has limited compatibility and it is a bit on the expensive side.

I paid 70 pounds for it from the apple store but it is cheaper now.It's 66 pounds.
