Apple have recently released a new model of the extremely popular MacBook, that has sold hundreds of thousands worldwide. The main modifications of this fifth upgrade are the increased RAM (up to 4GB), the larger hard drive of 120GB, and the improved Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
Why Shouldn't I Buy A Cheaper Laptop from DELL? Well, maybe you should - it depends. The entire mac range is in my opinion much better than windows-running laptops for several reasons:
* Firstly, the mac OS is much easier to use than windows - and runs considerably quicker and more smoothly. Gone are the days where your computer takes hours to turn on; the macbook powers up between 15 and 30 seconds. It also comes ready to use straight out of the box. There is loads of extremely useful software already on the laptop that you'd have to buy if you were using Vista. iLife '08 provides you with iPhoto, iMovie, Garageband, iWeb & iDVD. You only have to feel the macbook to fall in love with it.
* The macbook is also perfectly sized - with a glossy 13.3 inch screen that does not compromise a pixel of perfect crystalline viewing resolution due to its TFT display. The macbook looks as beautiful as it feels.
* If you're thinking "but what if the mac OS won't support the applications that I need?", then you have nothing to fear. Apple have cunningly included Boot Camp - which is basically Windows XP if you want to use it. But trust me; once you go mac you won't go back.
Okay - So What's the Catch? Well this really depends on you. If you have £700 kicking around somewhere, you really need to buy this product. But the price is an issue for most of us; as a decent Dell will set you back around half the price. However, bearing in mind that the macbook has loads of software, features and a camera already included, the price isn't that out of the ordinary. This mac will last you a lifetime.

(+) cool and quite robust trackpad, good display,64-bit windows 7 (-) few connectors, dell drivers only, not realy for gameing (most models), finger print prone!
I agree I have just put a review upo echoing the same thing! Not as technical as yours but, I do love it now and would never go back to using a pc! They are a little expencive but they dont crash anywhere as much as pc's do if ever and they allways perform at a speed unlike pc's that slow down over time.

hmm, what do you mean, there's win XP included? I've never use d amac and actually the "what if it wont support my games/programs/applications..." is probably my biggest concern.

A mate of mine has been trying to convert me to using a Mac and he's so full of it that I'm beginning to weaken. Well reviewed again. David

Advantages: They have loads of other products to add and I can use my Iphone to controll the music Disadvantages: A bit on the expencive side but it's worth it in the long run.
Advantages: portable, runs very fast, large storage with TimeMachine application for backing up your work Disadvantages: some problems with using Safari, though this may be due to the wireless network I am using, costs!
