    I used to be one of these Apple haters that hated Apple and their products with the Apple logo strewn all over them like some sort of post purchase advertisement. I was particularly adverse to their Mac computers, as to me they were but a pale copycat of a proper Windows computer. Heck, even Linux machines had better credibility in my eyes than the Mac did. Why was this?     I bought my MacBook direct from Apple early in the morning (probably as soon as sales actually opened!) and it shipped the same day, being delivered the very next day after my order - great turnaround! Since my ADVENT laptop was on its last legs I decided months ago I wanted to purchase a MacBook, I knew the MacBook had a great keyboard, large trackpad and nice operating system so it was an ideal choice. I've always liked Apple's keyboards, including the Apple Wired USB keyboard as their keys are separated in their own bracket - the keys are like scrabble tiles, so effortless to type on.     My macbook is the latest autumn 2009 release version with snow leopard installed. Before this date i did not have a laptop and relied on the family computer for homework and fun. When i bought this computer, my life was revolutionised by one machine. the positives of the macbook are that it has a phenomenal speed with a load up time of around 20 seconds. The macbook layout is very easy to use if you are familiar with them but if you own a windows and change to a mac, it takes some time to get used to but you realise it was one of the best choices you can make and never want a windows PC again ... more
