Advantages: Quick, safe, great free software Disadvantages: The price is a big compromise, but honestly its worth it
A wonderful wonderful laptop. Was my first mac product after working with imacs at work for a while. Battery life= great! It will actually wait til the battery runs out before it switches off, but it lets you know.
Software you get is great...and free! I particularly reccommend garageband which is used in many secondary schools music lessons, the possibilities are endless.
Only downside really is that you get less for your money than pcs, however ... ...with the compromise on price. Search facility is uber fast and the mac's own 'iwork' software that is compatible with m.office is loads cheaper than m.office. A great buy!!!
Also you must admit, it does look good. There are two usb ports and a number of different connections. It doesnt have a vga connection but a convertor to mini dvi can be easily and cheaply purchased. ...
