For all those who think apple is too expensive or too much of a name than function, I ask you to look closer. I'm a college student and I have had a lot of laptops and computers in my life time as a new generation laptop user...and I can promise you that nothing will be more value for money and more reliable and easy to use, for a college student, than a macbook. Now I'm not saying buy the macbook pro, but if you have the extra grand to spend on it, Go for it by all means. My brother has a macbook pro and we have our own graphic studio from home...that should say enough. Macbooks are the easiest, most reliable, fun and most efficient laptops in the market. 2000$ may seem a lot for a laptop, but when you look at what you're getting, you'll realize you're saving a LOT on the long run. Why? because by buying a Dell, or HP, or any other Microsoft run laptop, you're GUARANTEED to have problems. The era for Windows is over. I have had my Macbook for over a year easily, and I have had NO problem with it. I mean that sincerely. I...personally....and out of stupidity destroyed my own operating system...how did I fix it? Couldn't be any easier. Macbooks have a feature called the Time Machine. Easiest application to use. You connect an external hard drive and just let it do its own thing. Time machine backs up your entire system and saves it on the external HD. now...I ruined my mac, so I had to reinstall my Operating system, which by the way takes half the time of installing a windows. I installed my new OS...used the TIme machine to return ALL of my applications and files back to what it was before it got destroyed...and now I'm a happy user again. I walked into the apple store and they told me I could do this easily...and indeed it was easy. It's REALLY not hard switching over...
Things people complain about when speaking of buying an Apple Macbook,
1. It's different and hard to use: It will literally take less than an hour to figure things out. It is SO simple, yet so efficient....it's mind-numbing.
2. It's too expensive: It may look like a lot at first sight, but when you realize you don't have buy another laptop...and another laptop...and another laptop...and a bunch of softwares...you realize you're saving a LOT.

This is the best product there is on the market.

Could it be that problems in PC's are more prevalent because they outnumber the Mac by thousands to one? This makes them the easier target for hackers/virus writers etc. My PC has never given me problems because I'm careful, does that fact alone make it better than your Mac? I think not, but for the Mac, you think it does. I'm sure when the Mac...sorry...IF the Mac ever becomes more abundant than the PC, I'm pretty sure the virus writers will take note. One more thing, because PC's are upgradeable they become DIY projects and there are many manufacturers and parts available at competitive prices. How much will YOU pay for a memory upgrade? To much was that?
